Meeting of the Board of Directors of the National Employment and Training Company

The Board of Directors of the National Employment and Training Company convened today, Monday, May 12, 2025, under the chairmanship of Brigadier General Eng. Ammar Al-Sarairah, Assistant for Planning, Organization, and Defense Resources. The meeting addressed a number of strategic topics related to the development of vocational training programs and the expansion of opportunities across various economic sectors.

The agenda included a review of the company’s annual report and an overview of future plans aimed at expanding partnerships with both the public and private sectors. These efforts are designed to enhance the company’s capacity to meet the evolving needs of the labor market, ensure the provision of qualified labor, reduce unemployment rates, and support sustainable economic development.

The Minister of Labor and Chairman of the Board of the Vocational Training Corporation, Dr. Khaled Al-Bakkar, attended part of the meeting. He praised the pioneering role of the National Employment and Training Company in preparing and qualifying national cadres and raising their competencies. He also stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation between the company and the Vocational Training Corporation to achieve complementarity in developing vocational skills and meeting the needs of the local labor market with highly qualified professionals according to the latest standards.

It is noteworthy that the National Employment and Training Company is a private, non-profit shareholding company owned by the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army. Established under Royal directives, it is dedicated to training Jordanian labor according to the highest standards and is considered one of the leading training providers in the vocational and technical education sector.
