The Aqaba National Vocational Training (ANVT) Hub is a unique non-profit vocational training center located in Aqaba, Jordan, dedicated to providing outstanding career guidance and vocational training services that empower youth and enhance employability.
As a unique model in the region, the Hub collaborates with private sector entities, NGOs, and governmental bodies through strategic Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs), to gain industry insights and offer market-driven services. Its mission goes beyond training, aiming to positively reshape public perceptions about Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).
ANVT Hub was founded as a unique model by the National Employment and Training (NET) through the support of the 'Qualification Oriented to Employment in the Craft' project which is implemented by the Deutsche gesellschaft für internationale zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
Our mission is to offer outstanding career guidance and vocational training services to empower youth and bolster employability in Aqaba, while positively reshaping public perceptions about Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).
We envision a future where collaborations empower youth, providing tools and support for meaningful contributions to communities, while leading coherent and sustainable development initiatives in Jordan and the region.

DownloadANVT operates under a robust governance model that integrates both public and private sector involvement, ensuring balanced and effective decision-making. The governance structure includes a Board of Directors from ANVT’s umbrella organization, the National Employment and Training Company (NET), as well as an Advisory Committee with representatives ... from key public entities such as the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA), and the Aqaba Governorate Council. Private sector participation is equally emphasized through active engagement in strategic planning and management, fostering strong public-private partnerships (PPPs). Our Technical Committees, featuring experts and representatives from leading private companies, play a pivotal role in curriculum development and capacity building, ensuring that training programs meet international standards and local labor market needs. Additionally, these partnerships facilitate on-the-job training (OJT) and employment opportunities for trainees, ensuring they gain practical experience and have better employment prospects.
