Launch of Workshop on “Fundamentals of Cinematic Lighting and Composition” in Aqaba Through Joint Efforts
Organized by the Royal Film Commission – Jordan, a training workshop titled “Fundamentals of Cinematic Lighting and Composition” was launched on February 24, 2025, at the Aqaba Film Center, under the supervision of trainer Jude Korani and in cooperation with the Aqaba National Vocational Training Hub.
The workshop witnessed notable interaction from participants who engaged in an intensive hands-on experience, learning how to operate lighting equipment and utilize both natural and artificial light to create professional visual atmospheres. They also mastered the fundamentals of cinematic composition to highlight artistic aesthetics in film scenes.
This workshop comes as part of joint efforts in Aqaba to equip youth with advanced technical and artistic skills, and to open new horizons for them in the world of filmmaking.
