Delegation from Al Hussein Technical University and the German Energy Academy Visits the National Employment and Training Company to Explore Cooperation in Training Programs

The Director General of the National Employment and Training Company received a delegation from Al Hussein Technical University and the German Energy Academy, headed by Dr. Tarek Al-Toutounji, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the university, and Eng. Hamza Al-Banna, Director of the Academy, to discuss prospects for cooperation in developing and implementing specialized training programs.

The meeting addressed the possibility of launching training programs in key areas such as solar energy, energy efficiency, and electric vehicle charging, in alignment with the needs of the labor market and the Kingdom’s direction toward a green economy.

During the meeting, the Director General emphasized that the company operates several institutes across various governorates of the Kingdom, equipped with modern workshops and advanced technologies. This enables the company to implement high-quality training programs that meet the needs of the private sector. He added that this cooperation represents an important step toward uniting efforts and expanding the scope of joint training programs, thereby enhancing opportunities for Jordanian youth.

The discussion also included the possibility of implementing training programs during the current year in the Mafraq and Zarqa governorates, targeting young men and women in green professions. These programs aim to develop their skills and open new horizons for them in the future labor market.
